Timesis Ltd – Montepisano DMC is a SME based in San Giuliano Terme, Pisa – IT – since 1991. Timesis Ltd has large expertise on project management, monitoring and evaluation in EU, ACP and MED area countries. Since 2001, Timesis Ltd supports the EC in monitoring and assessing projects funded under LIFE Environment, Nature and Communication programme.
In 2013 a Timesis Ltd started a mapping analysis of the tourism offer of the Monte Pisano area to assess its potential of attractiveness on international markets. As a result, in August 2014 Timesis Ltd created a Destination Management Company “Montepisano DMC” intended to become the area unique incoming agency. The DMC staff is expert in Tourism Management. Additionally, in November 14th 2014, the tourism SME network called “Montepisano Territorio Ospitale” was established in the Monte Pisano area.
Montepisano DMC staff played a primary role in the network establishment, by acting as territorial facilitator and network leader. The strong innovating potential of such an organization model, has been never experienced before in the area. Timesis is managed by a board of 4 shareholders and performs its activities with a core staff of about 30 experts plus 1 unit of administrative staff. Montepisano DMC can rely on two full time tourism management experts.
